Who is it designed for
The crop insurance is designed for growers and farmers from all over the country.
Subject of the insurance
The agricultural harvest: field plants and vegetables; fruit, rose and mulberry gardens; vineyards, strawberries, raspberries, cultivated briars, cultivated blackberry, fruit nurseries, medical plants, hop, flowers for seed and sale, plants in greenhouses and conservatories.
Insurance cover
This insurance covers quantity damages on the harvest, resulting from: hale, storm, fire on root, torrential rain, flood, late spring and early autumn white frost after the 20th April and before the 1st October, frosting and drawing out of wheat plants, choking of wheat plants, slush, damages caused by fallen air crafts.
Sum insured
The sum insured for each type of plant is agreed according to the production capacity of the respective region and the prices of the agricultural production. The sum insured is specified by the conclusion of the insurance and can not be changed within the policy’s term. The sum insured can not exceed the real value of the harvest.
Insurance premium
The insurance premium is defined according to the rates of HDI Insurance. The Insurant pays off the premium on a single lump sum or on three instalments. The terms of the payment are to be agreed between both parties.
Conclusion of the insurance
The insurance is concluded by issuing a policy on the grounds of the proposal, which is an integral part of the insurance contract. The insurance comes into force from 00.00 h on the date, following the day when the whole insurance premium or the first installment has been paid.
Liability of the Insurer
The liability of the Insurer is up to the time of harvest of the respective type of plants in the usual for each region term.
Insurance indemnity
The insurance indemnities for crop damages are paid after the harvest excluding the damages resulting from frosting and drawing out of wheat plants that are to be paid within 15 days after presenting all the required documents.
