Rental Property Insurance
Who is it designed for
This insurance is designed for protection of residential properties, located on the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria, and rented by their proprietors, such as:
- Dwellings;
- Country houses;
- Movable property, located in the rented premises, such as furniture, technique and devices.
This insurance could also cover the lessor's liability for property and non-property damages caused by the insured property.
Insurance cover
This insurance covers the following perils:
Clause “A”:
Fire, including the consequences of its extinguishing, thunder /lightning/, explosion, implosion, crush and/or fall down of piloted air-craft, its parts and/or cargo.
Clause “B”:
(1) Storm; (2) Hail, torrential rain, flood; (3) Natural snow and/or ice heaping; (4) Frost damage, freezing; (5) Landslide or collapse of land strata; (6) Damage from the action of sub-soil waters; (7) Failure of water-main, sewerage and steam-main installations and the devices connected to them; (8) Stroke by a vehicle; (9) Earthquake; (10) Arson; (11) Necessary expenses; (12) Vandalism; (13) Housebreaking.
Clause “C”:
Lessor's liability for caused property and non-property damages.
Sum insured
The sum insured of the property shall be agreed in Bulgarian Leva or in other currency on the basis of the actual or the recovery property's value, or the liability limit.
Insurance premium
The insurance premium shall be calculated according to the rates of HDI Zastrahovane AD depending on the sum insured, respectively the liability limits, the risk circumstances, the chosen risks of the insurance cover and the insurance term.
Validity of the insurance cover
The insurance cover shall be valid for the property, described in the policy and located at the address, indicated in the policy.
Insurance term
The standard term of the insurance is 1 year.
